How we got our start Subwing was invented in 2010 by Norwegian teenager Simon Sivertsen. During a sailing trip in the Mediterranean he was amazed by the crystal clear water. Swimming under water felt almost like flying! This is when Simon decided to use some driftwood to create the very first prototype of the Subwing.
